The continuation of the Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato – the Sanction II cars – hits a new price peak of £1.23 million at Bonhams Aston Martin Sale. Last month we reported that one of just four Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato Sanction II Coupés was up for grabs at Bonhams Aston Martin Sale at Newport Pagnell and expected to make £1.2 million. It made almost exactly that – £1.23 million, a new record in auction for a Sanction II car and a record sale at Newport Pagnell.
Volvo's view on the 2014 XC90
The Volvo XC90 is still a capable cross between a luxury SUV and a Crossover (as we discovered recently when we played with the XC-90 R-Design for a week), but it is now very ancient. Launched in 2002, the XC90 has soldiered on essentially unchanged (bar some tweaks and the R-Design options), yet despite that it’s still a credible option with some very appealing traits. But it’s well past time to reveal a new XC90.
A record-breaking global gathering of Citroën 2CVs is set to take place from July 26-31 at the 19th International 'Amis de la 2CV', so we thought it was a good opportunity to showcase the now legendary model designed by Flaminio Bertoni. The biennial event is expected to attract over 6,000 examples of the iconic model, with participants from all over the world coming together to celebrate one of Citroën's biggest success stories. The 2011 event, involving many of Europe's 2CV owner's clubs, promises to be the biggest yet.
